TIme to Catch Up

Well I haven't been very diligent in keeping this up but I'll try to do better.

Where are we at:

Varsity Boys - With x-mas break fast approaching we have battled to 3 and 3 in our league. After a couple of tough losses we have made some changes and battled back to get a huge win vs St. Stephen. We've got another big game Friday in Grand Falls.

Parent meeting is set before practice Thursday with a focus on our two up coming tournaments. The Ganong invitational in St. Stephen, and our own Holiday Cage Classic.

Junior Varisty Boys - The boys have played some tough competition early but every game are improving. Our defense is keeping us in games and we are looking forward to a chance for some pay back against sussex this Monday.

Nov.22 - Upcoming games and practices

JV boys practice has been cancelled for Thrusday Nov. 23. Instead we practice and scrimmage tonight at 4:55 - 6:40.

Tonight the Varsity Boys also play host to McAdam in what will hopefully be a rebound game for them after a soft outing against PTA.

Varsity boys travel to Nackawic this weekend to play in the Big Axe tourney. Parents and coaches need to get together after the game tonight to finalize plans for travel. Game times are Thursday @ 3:00 vs St. Stephen, Friday @ 1:30 vs Harvey, Friday @ 7:00 vs Hartland. Results of the roudn robin will determine if and when we play on Sat.

Next week the Jv boys kick off their schedule with home games against Canterbury Monday, and CNHS Friday. They also go play @ Sussex Christian on Tuesday.

Next week the varsity boys have a light week with only a league game @ ESA on Wednesday.

Practices for next week remain as posted.

Nov. 15 + 16

Thanks to all the parents who made this weeks parent meeting so successful.

NOv 15 is game night. Nackawic is coming to visit the Varisty boys for the first league game of the season.

Nov 16. The varsity boys and jv boys will have scheduled practice but it will not be in the gym. They do not need a change of clothes as practices will be classroom sessions.

Monday Plan for Nov. 13

There has been some confusion over the plan for Monday. The mini tournament will go on all day with varisty and JV players working the canteen and as refs.

After the tourney ends, the JV boys will have practice until 5:10.

The parent meeting for JV and Varsity will take place @ 5:30 in library. This meeting should take about an hour.

Varisty practice will be from 6:30 - 8:10

Teams and Preseason Announcements

It's early on, far too early for comments or projections. This first entry is just to list the teams for everyone to see. PLease note the first parent meeting of the year will be held at FHS on Nov. 13. The meeting will take place in the library @ 5:30 pm. This meeting is for parents and guardians of Varsity and JV boys players.
